Building PC’s is part of my passion, and whether you are a home or business, having a computer custom built means the best parts can be hand picked and built into the computer so you will enjoy it for many years to come, and it isn’t much more expensive than a PC from a retailer!
I build PC’s that are designed to last a lot longer than anything you will buy off the shelf. It should be lasting you around 7 years, instead of the 2-3 years which seem to be the accepted norm these days. Better quality internal parts means the computer has a much smaller failure rate, so you will have a much more enjoyable computing experience.
I often get asked the question ‘should I buy a laptop or a desktop?’ Laptops are wonderful if you are going to move them around such as take them travelling. But a big mistake is to buy a laptop and it just sits on the desk because they have a much shorter life than a custom built desktop, the screen size is much smaller and lower down compared to a desktop PC, and if a major part inside them fails, it can often be much more costly as the laptop has to be completely dismantled.
